Officers with the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Richmond County Sheriff’s Office arrested Deandre Brown after checking an apartment off Sycamore Drive, sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser said.

Brown was wanted in connection with a home invasion and the homicide of Charlie Jones III on March 29 at in the 1400 block of Ridgewood Drive.

Richmond County Investigators previously arrested Ronny Bonner on charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, burglary and armed robbery. Brown faces the same charges.

Authorities are still searching for a third man wanted in the incident, Willie Edward Hooper.
